In the Watchtower Society's general depiction of the Christ on an upright stake there is usually one nail in His hands; whereas the biblical verse tends to indicate that nails were imprinted in His hands. KJV - John 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Here is the same verse as it reads in The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures as published by the The Watchtower Society (for JW's). NWT - John 20:25 Consequently the other disciples would say to him: "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them: "Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails and stick my finger into the print of the nails and thrust my hand into his side, I will certainly not believe." Some might obviously argue that the term "nails" refers to the hands and the feet. But unfortunately for them, there is no mention of feet in the passage. KJV - John 20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. NWT - John 20:27 "Next he said to Thomas: Put your finger here, and see my hands, and take your hand and stick it into my side, and stop being unbelieving but become believing." 28 In answer Thomas said to him: "My Lord and my God!"
Of course if you use that very rare skill more generally known as plain ol' common sense then you'd have to ask why the Romans - or anybody for that matter - would waste a nail on a condemned man when only one is needed and, as is traditionally depicted, they did not waste a nail and used only one on the feet? The obvious conclusion would be that the hands were seperated, thus requiring two nails. - Adolf Hitler - So what is the sketch artist to do? Heads it's two nails. Tails it's one?

The Watchtower Society (for Jehovah's Witnesses) published a pamphlet "The End of False Religion is Near" (So, they've finally decided to quit? -Ed). This is based on the fact that the ten horns of the wild beast in Revelation, on which the woman is riding, turn on the whore who sits on many waters and destroy her completely. The whore is seen by the Watchtower society to represent "a world empire of false religion". (While the whore who sits on many waters may simplistically represent "false religion"; with the woman sitting atop the wild beast this is a somewhat narrow definition and likely should be extended to the entire spectrum of Consumerist Society which makes up "modern-day-Babylon" -Ed) Revelation 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. Of course the merchants who fuelled the whole process do the most sensible thing that any businessman would do in their position when the whole thing comes crashing down - they bail. The Ghosts of Christmas Past and Future In the Christmas Day celebration the date for the birth of the Christ is derived from the theory that the Christ was conceived on March 25 and therefore born on December 25 (Somebody should've told me that we're already living in a perfect world with perfect pregnancies -Ed). And this just so happens to coincide with the pagan celebration of the return of the Sun (I'm begining to smell some really bad sushi here -Ed). God does have a plan and purpose for your life. There is no grand cosmic scheme to constrain people to hell. You're simply going to end up there because hell is the default destination. You don't need to do something to end up in hell. You simply have to do nothing [of note].
