To make a distinction between the initial Days we will refer to the Day of the generation of the heavens and earth as a Universal Day, while the normal twenty-four hour day that only existed on the 4th Universal Day will be an Earth Day. Earth Days only came into being on the 4th Day, when the sun and moon were created.

Genesis 1:1  ¶In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3  ¶And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4  And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Genesis 2:4  ¶These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Each Universal Day pulses once every thousand years. This is used as a count and is in fact inconsequential as God can turn water into wine in an instant:

Fly in the prominent, intellectually well-respected wine-tasting connoisseur from a distant part of the earth and he meticulously points out that the wine is a 100-year-old vintage harvested in the south of France. Ask some dimwit at the party and he says something stupid like: 'No man, this wine is five minutes old.'

The following terms are sometimes given a special highfalutin meaning but are in fact just plain, simple, good ol' english language words:

apostate:  means deserter, absconder or runaway
apostacy:  is desertion (like deserting the army)
atonement:  means reconciliation, amends, apology, recompense, make up for. bible:  means books (biblia - books)
church:  an assembly, a gathering (or harvest) of people with a mission
commandment:  means instruction or directive
gospel:  means good news or (fascinating) good news
prophecy:  means prediction, forecast, anticipate or projection
redeem:  means to make amends for, buy back, reclaim, compensate for or make up for
repent:  means to be sorry, to apologize, to regret, to change your mind or to be remorseful
remnant:  means left over, remainder or a trace of
salvation:  means rescue, recovery, deliverance or escape
sin:  means fail, failure, fault, flaw, lapse, miss the mark or shortcoming

So for example in the scenario below:

A righteous remnant would be righteous people who are left over or remain.
An unrighteous remnant would be unrighteous people who are left over or remain.

As pointed out before these are just plain ol' english words and do not have any kind of special meaning.

2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. 8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Here the Son of God gives us a breakdown of the characteristics of Generation3 using a technique that is found throughout the bible, namely dualspeak: addressing the current and a future audience at the same time.

Generation3 cannot be pleased or satisfied:

Matthew 11:16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, 17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.

Luke 7:31 And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like? 32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept.

Generation3 is a wicked and adulterous generation seeking a sign:

Matthew 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

The men of Nineveh will rise up and condemn Generation3:

Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

Luke 11:32 The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

There will be no prophet raised up to warn Generation3 and Generation3 (or the remnant thereof) will last a total of Three Universal Days:

Luke 11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet. 30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

Matthew 12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Generation3 would be ashamed of the Son of Man.

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Generation3 will reject the Son.

John 15:22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Luke 17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25  But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. 26  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Generation3 will continue until one of two things occur:

1) All men come into the will of God or
2) The clock runs out.

(As the bible is primarily a book about the battle between good and evil, it's pretty simple to figure out what God's will is - we're not giving you three guesses here - it's to reduce evil).

Luke 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; 30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

It is ironic that with roughly 66.6% of the Last Three Days (or Latter Days) having passed, all man has managed to do is build up a figurative "modern-day Babylon" instead of building up a figurative "Jerusalem" (or "Zion" if you prefer).

You can of course change this, especially if you're a young person. You do not have to buy into the dead precedents of the lost generations of the past and you can break the spell that Satan has seemingly cast on parents and grandparents [thus breaking the generational curse] - if you don't get played!

In this way, at the point of the dividing cusp, a New Power Generation3 would spring forth and take back the planet - if it isn't already too late!

You can either fuel the good ship Babylonia or sink her - it all depends on what you buy and sell. This is a Parade. Anybody who doesn't get this is most probably still reading their english bible in Greek; instead of English. Hop into the Wayback Machine and transport yourself to the time of the Second World War - and place yourself in one of the occupied countries of the time.

If you were a Nazi sympathiser then you'd be cheering the German army on as they paraded through the center of your capital city. You'd be wondering why those "insane" people who believe in such crazy ideals as "personal freedom" and "human dignity" are mourning.

When the Allies in turn liberate the country you would - if you were supportive of their mission - be cheering as they paraded through the center of the capital city. You'd probably be wondering why those "insane" people who believed in such crazy ideals as "racial superiority" and a "thousand year reich" were mourning.

It all depends on whose side you're on.

In the First Parade of the First Coming the Son of God came to redeem mankind and rode on a donkey with meekness and humility as He came bringing a message of redemption.

Matthew 21:4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. 6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Zechariah 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

In the Second Parade at the Second Coming the Son of God comes to condemn the nations and rides on a white horse with power and great authority as He arrives to execute His condemnation.

Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

The saints "who are worthy" are "caught up" into the clouds to join the Victory Parade of the procession of the coming King, while the righteous - the meek, or common folk who fall into the "we're not worthy" category - are "passed over". The unrighteous and the wicked are of course "caught out" and destroyed.

Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Here we notice that, not only are the tribes of the earth mourning, but the nations are angry - and this comes across as rather strange as the Victory Parade is meant to be the ultimate solution to their occupational hazards.

Perhaps, they're on the wrong side...

Rapture Theories:

The Silent Rapture concludes in the 2008/9 season. (My astral guide says the 25th of September but he's always wrong with the lotto numbers and always two weeks off on everything else, so I won't be holding my breath - even though ancient Babylon was supposed to have fallen on the night of October 5/6. Other suggested alternatives are of course Christmas Day [the irony of course being that the "return of the sun" scorches the Earth] or the old Jewish Passover day [Nisan 14 - or around April Fool's Day]. If you fools don't get that one, then...

It is somewhat fitting to refer to Armageddon as April Fool's Day as all of the "idiots" and "fools" will be removed from the Earth -Ed).

Two Universal Days from the birth of the Christ is 2001AD.

Skeptics of the Silent Rapture will of course be quick to point out that at the return of Christ "every eye will see him" so there would have to have been some sort of "lightening bolt sign" of the Second Coming that everyone in the world would have somehow seen, yet somehow missed - whatever that "sign" was supposed to have been.

While it's easy to quickly dismiss the Silent Rapture as something off the deep end, it must be remembered that "signs" were missed in the past:

Matthew 17:10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Mark 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Matthew 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Every 144,000 days make up 1 B'ak'tun. Legend has it that after the 13th B'ak'tun (that unlucky number 13 pops up again -Ed) comes to an end, a new cycle will begin on the Earth and this incidentally coincides with December 2012 on the Solar calender. If you throw in the [now popular] seven years of tribulation, the Mayan Rapture comes to it's conclusion in the 2018/19 season (If you were a betting man, your money would be right here -Ed). Two Universal Days from the only mention of the Christ as a pubescent young lad is 2013/14* AD. (14* likely being more accurate).

Century 2, Quatrain 62 Mabus will soon die, then will come, A horrible undoing of people and animals, At once one will see vengeance, One hundred powers, thirst, famine, when the comet will pass.

Nostrodamus prophecies also relate to a period of twenty seven years of war that concludes in a millennium or thousand year period of peace (similar to the biblical millennium) on earth. Determining this time frame all depends on whether you believe that war started in 1991, 2001 or 2008. Throw in a king from Persia with a blue turban and you've got yourself a hit television series.

Century 8, Quatrain 77 The antichrist very soon annihilates the three, twenty-seven years his war will last. The unbelievers are dead, captive, exiled; with blood, human bodies, water and red hail covering the earth.

In most cases all of the Nostrodamus predictions are open to any interpretation you give them and thus amount to nothing more than meaningless nonsense. The Nostrodamus Rapture ends in the 2028/29 season. Two Universal Days from the anointing of the Son of God is 2029AD.

It must furthermore be noted that Nostrodamus himself pointed out that man can alter his destiny and, in effect, the future. This basically means that ultimately it is possible that none of ol' Nostro's predictions will ever actually come true.

All prophecy in the end is ultimately reliant on one central, yet very core concept: the principle stupidity of man.

The last generation alive at the time of the cataclysmic tribulation of the End of the Age will be the unlucky 13th Day generation - or, as the Sixth Day is a Friday - the unlucky Friday the 13th generation. (Why is Friday the 13th said to be superstitiously unlucky in any event - does anybody actually really know? -Ed)

It must be noted that should the Second Coming be a dollar short and a Day late, (plausible, though unlikely - In fact, if you suggested to a serious Christian scholar that the Second Coming would occur only after 3000AD he'd probably deem you insane - and you could, with an almost certainty, presume that any child born today will not see their 70th birthday before Armageddon hits.) - then the current world will of course continue on to the next millennium.

Luke 23:27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him. 28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. 29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

It takes a very special skill to identify the Antichrist - the ability to read. There are only four mentions of the term antichrist in the bible. Everything else is all a whole lot of man-made-deduction. If you're into that, then you should come up with a story of your own and sell that extra-textual script to Hollywood.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

There is only one individual who can determine whether you receive the mark of the beast or not - YOU! The idea of individuals being marked for destruction or salvation is as old as the Old Testament.

Ezekiel 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. 5 ¶And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: 6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

In the previous instances executions were done by men who would have to physically observe the mark. At the End of the Age, for those executions, the "mark" or markings will be of a spiritual nature related to the character of the individual - and will only need to be seen by a spiritual eye. You will no more physically see a mark on an unbeliever as what you will see a mark on a believer. In fact people have been receiving or rejecting the "mark" for the past 2000 years.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Deuteronomy 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

Exodus 13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem. 16 And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.

Marked Out of Favor

Ezekiel 13:18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you? 19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

To find the references to where nations are described in terms of beasts you would generally refer to the book of Daniel and the book of Revelation.

Daniel 7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

The Sea Creatures:

Babylon: A lion with eagle wings - it loses its wings, stands upright and gets a man's heart.

Daniel 7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

Media-Persia: A bear snacking on spare ribs.

Daniel 7:5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

Greece: A leopard with four wings and four heads. (Greece split into four regions after Alexander the Great's death at about thirty-three years of age).

Daniel 7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

Rome: Beast with iron teeth, nails of brass had ten horns (Rome broke up into ten regions which eventually became seven or eight).

Daniel 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

The Land Creatures:

Daniel 8:3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

Greece: A rough he-goat with a prominent horn - which eventually splits into four. (Greece split into four regions after Alexander the Great's death at about age thirty-three).

Daniel 8:5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes.

Every person infused into a particular nation or world power can be seen to effectively constitute one cell that collectively makes up (or powers up, you coppertop -Ed) the "monsters" we create. The beasts are therefore all merely cartoon representations of various nations.

If you're an American you make up part of the American Eagle
If you're Russian you make up a part of the Russian Bear
If you're Chinese you make up a part of the Chinese Dragon
If you're British you make up a part of the British Lion

If for instance you had a fictitious country named Tandura which had a Christian constitution, had Christian leaders and a population of Christian people - then people in the world would refer to that nation as the "Tandurian Lamb".

This purpose driven nation would be the humblest nation on earth and a nation under God (with God probably hovering directly above it). It would embrace the fundamental principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of Godly joy. This would be a government for the Lord, by the Lord and of the Lord. The citizens of this nation would be set on a course that leads directly to the Truth, the Way and the Life. This country would be a true prophet and a most favoured nation to have good health care, a good economy, good neighbourhoods and the cleanest streets and would be of service to its alien residents. Folk here would say:

Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

If you would want to live in such a nation then you're heading towards the kingdom of heaven. If not, then you'll fit in here like a black man at a klan meeting and in that instance you're instead (then probably better off -Ed) heading towards the kingdom of hell. The kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of hell are within you (but you already knew that!)

Luke 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Luke 14:11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Proverbs 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

Luke 1:50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. 51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

Here you wouldn't be deluged or bombarded by a mass media pumping out the knowledge of evil up in your face and into your brain stream. (Evil ferments in the heart and mind and will manifest itself making you its servant not only in this life but in the life to come. You effectively become a "carrier" of evil akin to being infected with the fictitious rage virus, taking sin with you into your next life - all because you didn't accept the Cure and weren't "immunized" or "cleansed" by the blood of the Lamb).

Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Proverbs 19:23 The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.

2) Below are the Revelation examples:

The people who make up the grassroots support for the first beast in Revelation are represented by the sea, whereas the grassroots support for the two-horned beast are represented by the earth. The people of the earth are of a somewhat better caliber than the people of the sea - but not by much. The horns represent leadership.

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Revelation 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

The seven-headed ten-horned beast mentioned in Revelation has been around since the collapse of the Roman Empire, which split into ten regions that eventually shrank to seven or eight. This beast is Euroasian centered and is represented by the countries in and around Europe. In modern day terms this is seen by some to either represent the European Union (more likely) or by others to represent the entire World (less likely).

Revelation 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. The two-horned beast has two horns that appear as lambs horns and, as the horns represent leadership, it is seen that they mimic some of the principles of the Lamb of God. The two horns here represent divided leadership or dual leadership and in today's terms - depending on who you're listening to could represent, starting with the most likely first, the following countries: USA (Red-Blue States divided leadership), USA-UK (Alliance Partners), USA-Israel (Judeo-Christian roots) or USA-Russia (Ideologies conflicting with Actions).

The two-horned beast (later referred to by continuance as the "false prophet") is around at the End of the Age and, depending on that timeline, may even represent some future world power. It may also represent some other hypocritically mixed up nation in the world - there's plenty of them!

The history of these beasts and whatever they represent is all totally irrelevant - and don't mean diddly. What's of any real consequence is how it all ends! That's what's of any actual significance!

Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. You can change this of course, especially if you're a young person (for two reasons: 1. older people tend to develop into "idiots" and thereafter hardly change 2. you are the generation that will ultimately be hit with the wrath of God - not them!)

As such you reduce the symbolic Revelation beasts to the original form of what they truly are - Cartoons! (I mean, do you really want a bunch of cartoons running your life?) In a quirky yet ironic twist of fate that reeks o' a hint o' Irish humor, you could - as the beasts do eventually disappear - fulfill the prophecy without the backlash.

To his credit, at least the rich young man didn't put forward a suggestion for some grand scheme of pretentious righteousness, such as:

1 - Building a hospital in some Third World country
2 - Promising to donate his wealth to charity at his death
3 - Holding some charity charge-per-plate celebrity dinner
4 - Taking up some current, popular cause in the developing world

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

He did the most sensible thing he could do in his situation:

Matthew 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

Ezekiel 7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Ezekiel 33:13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

So if you have say more than $2 million dollars in personal wealth you're already walking that thin red line; there are way too many people living on less than a-dollar-a-day for God to hold you guiltless.

From the perspective of God and the devil every person on the planet is a gold coin (some of us just need polishing). Here the Son of God makes the distinct point that if you become fishers of men, God can give you a billion fish. God has plenty of money; God does not have plenty of people because people have free will. Your personal bank balance is of no relevance to God who is more interested in Mr Wendel, the homeless hobo huddled in the street corner, than which luxury automobile you use to drive past him.

God does not give one iota about the world's jumbo jets, skyscrapers or supercomputers. These are just low-tech trinkets that are going to be burnt up in any case. All God cares about is the content of the character of his creations - that's hard currency in the kingdom of heaven.

What does each party use evil for?

God uses evil to execute His judgments.

Satan uses evil to illustrate its dramatic effect. In the same way that a "terrorist organisation"(1) such as the IRA would blow up a city block to highlight or further their "cause".

Man uses evil to get an edge in life or a foot up on his fellowman (or to put it another way: If it benefits ME, evil can be tolerated, excused or ignored.)

(1) One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

What is each parties solution to evil?

God says: (Simple) Do what is good.

Satan says: Evil exists - use it.

Man says: I sure hope evil will fade away or disappear by some magic or miracle.

Of the three parties man is doing the least to neutralize evil and yet it is he who bears the brunt of all the trauma of evil. If another regional war breaks out on the earth, the devil isn't exactly going to interrupt his afternoon nap.

If you "embrace good" then according to heavenly law God's got nothing on you and can't touch you. If you don't, then every human right you ever dreamt or imagined you had goes straight out the window - and there is, in actuality, no statute of limitations on the amount of evil that God can do to you.
